Our helpers are very experienced in most of the cases, but if somehow the helper made a mistake and broke or damage something in your house then your Home insurance will cover this. But even if the home insurance cover the majority of the cases but still you need to pay the Deductible (Självrisk) which could be around 1500 SEK to 3000 SEK depending upon your insurance company.
To be safe, Hembit provide you the Självrisk Assurance which from the value of item, upto maximum of 1500 SEK.

Once you selected the helper and paid the amount or agree to get the invoice, you can chat with helper without sharing personal contact details. Notifications help you stay updated, so keep them enabled!
Hembiet strongly recommend you to talk through Hembiet App, any communication outside of Hembiet will not be applicable for any disagreement.
What if there’s no response?
Sometimes users may be busy or unavailable. If there’s a delay, a little patience can help. If you don’t hear back and time is short, you’re always free to cancel and post a new job.
Customer can cancel the adv free of charge before 6hr. After 6hours customer cant cancel.
If helper by mistake broke something, or use a wrong cleaner which damage the soffa, or bed, the helper should immediately take the photo of the affected area and write it to the contact us form. attaching the photo. This will be used by insurance.
Helper need to confirm the exact time on chat (if its flexible). and communicate to the customer if he/she is getting late via chat platform of Hembiet.
Upon reach Helper should show the Swedish ID to be verified, and once customer verified then he/she should do a check in in the app. If some issue please call the customer care.
Once the work is done, the helper should get out of house and you as a customer should do a checkout. If the checkout is delayed then extra money could be charged as worker has worked extra.
Any communication outside of Hembiet app is not accepted, and cannot be used for any insurance and resolution.
Yes, you can choose to work with the same helper consistently, as long as both of you agree to the arrangement. Many users find it helpful to establish a working relationship with a familiar helper who understands their needs.
All payments must be processed through the Hembiet app to ensure compliance and transparency.
If you need to close your Hembiet account, please contact us at info@hembiet.se with your registered phone number, name, and email address, and mark the email “Delete Account.”
To confirm your request, we’ll send a code via SMS. Simply reply with the code to proceed, and we’ll email you a confirmation once the account is deleted.
Note: You cannot delete your account to create a new one with the same BankID.

For professional:
Only professional cleaners are allowed to work alone (in absense of owner of house), Helper hand should not work alone. Its customer responsibility to request for right service
If working alone, the customer must given enough time to clean the house: For ex: 75m2 takes around 3hours to clean. and a villa takes around 5hours to clean. What’s included is mentioned in :

For Helping hand:
Helping hand workers are not professionals. You must know how to clean it, but customer will suggest you where to clean and how. You will be helping the customer. Also the scope of work will be same as

Having the right cleaning tools makes home cleaning easier. Here are some tips from Vardagsfrid:
Vacuum Cleaner
Choose a vacuum with a powerful motor and HEPA filter. Avoid unnecessary features; a strong motor reduces noise and lasts longer. Clean the vacuum regularly and replace the filter every 10 bags.
Vacuum Bags
Use standard bags for easy replacement. When the bag is full, empty it if possible. Order new bags when you have 2-3 left.
Bucket
Round buckets are easier to clean than square ones.
Mop
Use a microfiber mop with a removable head, washing it at 60 degrees between uses.
Microfiber Cloths
Microfiber captures dust effectively. Use color-coded cloths: red for bathrooms, green for the kitchen, and blue for other rooms. Fold the cloth twice to get multiple clean surfaces.
Feather Duster
Feather dusters are useful for delicate surfaces, but a microfiber cloth is often a better option.
Vacuum Brush Attachment
Use the brush attachment to vacuum delicate surfaces and moldings.
Cleaning Products
Use all-purpose cleaner or kitchen cleaner for general surfaces. Bathroom cleaner works well for limescale—let it sit for 15-30 minutes. Use soap sparingly and avoid overuse.
Odor Remover
Use enzyme-based products to eliminate odors at the source.
Window Cleaning
For windows, use water and a microfiber cloth. A soft rubber squeegee will give the best results.
Steel Wool and Scrubbing Surfaces
Avoid steel wool; instead, choose a gentler cleaner like Universal Paste or the Miracle Sponge.
Grout Brush and Scrub Brush
Use a grout brush for tight spaces and a scrub brush for thorough bathroom floor cleaning.
Toilet Cleaning
Use the toilet brush at least once a week. Clean the bowl with bathroom spray and let it sit for best results.
Trash Bags
Reduce plastic waste by choosing thin trash bags and reusing them as long as they stay fresh.
Hembiet is starting in larger cities like Stockholm, and you can expect quicker responses there. Outside major cities, responses may take a bit longer depending on local availability.
No Responses? Check Your Payment
If you’re not getting replies, consider increasing your payment offer. Since you only pay when help is provided, it’s worth trying a higher amount to attract more interest.
As Hembiet continues to grow, expect more activity in areas outside of major cities soon!
Its always good to check with the helper before few hours that he/she is going to come. But if some how the time is passed and the helper didnt arrived then the job could be cancelled. and new job could be made from the app. The money will only be deducted once the job is done, if there is not job done the money will be refunded or no invoice will be send to you.
There is some minimum limit for professional and helping hand helpers will get. So you cant set below that limit. But if you need urgent help then putting some high budget will attract the helpers to come and help you to clean the house. For now you cannot increase the budget once set in the app. So check your requirements and set the budget accordingly.
The Hembiet app is free to download. Payments are made directly in the app, and you only pay when the task is complete and you confirm it.
Payment Reservation
When you select a helper, the payment amount is reserved on your registered payment card until the task is completed.
Or If you selected the invoice method for payment then the invoice will be send to you with the same amount as agreed in the app.
Confirm and Pay
Once the task is done, confirm and complete the payment under “My Ads” in the app. Payments can only be made through the app—other methods like Swish or cash are not supported.
For sure, Hembiet deduct the applicable taxes with the monthly/Weekly salary of the worker.
